People seem to be amazed at the self adjust as you open up the box and expose the watch to light. Nothing amazing about that. The title kinda trick you into this amazing watch you are going to get, but in reality this watch isn’t far off from your $60 G-Shock. The led light is useless, can’t make out what time it is at night. You would think when you pay this kind of price you will get a backlight watch that make the watch easy to read at night, get ready for disappointment. At night with led light on can’t read anything from the digital part and hardly able to see the analog hand part. Atomic radio adjustment is a nice feature if you can get reception(had only one successful atomic adjustment during early in the morning, Los Angeles, California)! Only nice part about the watch is the solar cell. It recharges the battery making changing the battery thing of the past.
Bottom-line overrated watch with overrate price. Stick with your all digital G-Shock that is not over $90. Everything above $90 are overrated.

I bought this “Tough Solar” watch for about a week now. Surprisingly to find that it still needs a “rechargeable battery” which has a short life span…. Some AWG-101 owners said that the battery only lasts for less than 3 years.Casio Men’s G-Shock Multi-Band Solar Atomic Analog Watch #AWG101-1A

The only “shock” for me is that I could not receive the signal and am sending this watch back to vendor. Could not get watch off Lisbon time which does not help if you live in California. Very disappointing.

I love the look and quality of the watch, and the fact that ill never have to change the battery. But if you dont have the book good luck getting this watch to do anything you want it to. Its a confusing little bugger.

Overall, this watch has everything that was promised. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that there is no night light to view time in the dark. Otherwise, very nice watch for the price.
